Dean, born as Hyuk Kwon in South Korea, began his career as a hip-hop artist at the age of sixteen. Two years later, he was writing songs for other for K-pop stars under the name Deanfluenza. In 2015, Dean debuted as a solo artist, frist in the USA and then in South Korea.
