Singer and rapper Hwang Hyun-jin was born in Seoul on March 20, 2000. He was approached by a JYP-employee while shopping with his mother and invited to audition. After passing this audition, he spent two years as a trainee with JYP before debuting with the boy group Stray Kids in 2016. His stage name is Hyunjin.
