Kim Jong-in, better known on stage as Kai, was born in Suncheon, South Korea, in 1994. He is a member of the South Korean-Chinese boy group Exo, its sub unit Exo-K, and South Korean supergroup SuperM. Kim was trained in dancing and ballet from a young age on. At only thirteen, he participated and won the SM Youth Best Contest. After joining the Label, he began his training in hip hop and debuted with EXO in 2012.
