Sunny, born as Lee Soon-kyu in California, is an American singer and entertainer. Sunny is the niece of Lee Soo-man, founder of SM Entertainment. She joined the agency in 1998 and became a trainee for five years. She then signed with Starworld agency, where her father worked as a manager before returning to SM Entertainment in 2007. Later in the same year, she debuted as a member of girl group Girls' Generation. Sunny is also part of the subgroup Girls' Generation-Oh!GG. Apart from her group's activities, Sunny has participated in numerous side projects including television shows, musical acting and radio hosting.
