Kim Woo Jin was born in Bucheon, South Korea. Before joining JYP, he was an apprentice at SM Entertainment and Fantagio. In 2017, he participated in the reality show Stray Kids and debuted with the group in March 2018 with the EP I am Not. Woojin left Stray Kids in October 2019 due to personal reasons.
