Lee Chae-rin, or CL, is a South Korean rapper, singer and songwriter. She was a member of the former Kpop girlgroup 2NE1. Before joining YG Entertainment and debuting with the girlgroup 2NE1 in 2009, CL had been a trainee at JYP Entertainment.
